Fall decorating is a struggle many of us deal with. We want to decorate for fall, but then, what do you do about Halloween? Then, you want to decorate for Thanksgiving. Does this mean you need three different decorating ideas? Nope – not at all!
I like to buy as much as I can that will work for both and then just leave it up from September through November.
To start, pick up some artificial pumpkins/gourds. Draw a jack-o-lantern face onto the pumpkin and spin it around so the face is not shown. This is your fall decor.
When it is close to Halloween, just spin the pumpkin around and you’ll have a cute pumpkin face showing.
On November 1st, spin the pumpkin back around again and you’ll be back to the perfect decor for Thanksgiving! None of your guests will ever be able to tell you have a jack o’lantern on the other side of that pumpkin! Isn’t that great?! That’s my kind of decorating!
What are your the tricks you use to transition from fall to Halloween to Thanksgiving decor?
