CVS’s coupon kiosk is at it again! Right now, it is spitting out coupons for $1.00/1 CVS/Pharmacy Shampoo or Conditioner. If you get this coupon, you can find shampoo on a lower shelf (in many locations), that look like Suave but have no brand name on them. Yep – no name! They cost only $0.97 — so you can get it for FREE! This would be a great item to donate if you don’t need the product for your own family.
Thanks Barabara!

I am getting quite a stock pile of toothpaste & such with the recent great deals…where is a good place to donate such items?
Thanks!

You can contact some of the women’s shelters or even Union Mission to see if they need these types of products. That is so generous to donate your excess!

Harvesters is always in need of personal care items becasue food stamps don’t cover things like toothpaste and toliet paper! My church has a collection bin for Harvesters where I always drop my extras. SafeHome and Village Church Food Pantry will also gladly accept your donations…

Our parish is collecting personal hygiene items on Holy Thursday for the Salvation Army in Independence, MO. The SA has shower facilities for those who are homeless or in shelters so that they can spruce themselves up prior to job interview and get back on their feet. I snagged some good buys at Walgreens this week for this collection, but I might have to swing by CVS for some of their deals & freebies, too.
