It is that time of the year again. It is report card time! While a report card’s prime positioning on the front of the refrigerator is always exciting for your child – something in return for those good grades is always better! And, when that reward is something that doesn’t cost Mom and Dad anything – it sure gets two thumbs up!
If you homeschool, you can create your own report card for your kids, so that they too can enjoy these freebies. You can find a free form here.
There are several merchants who participate in Good Grade Rewards programs. You head to their location and show your child’s report card and get some great things in return! Below you will find a list of places you can go, but it is always best to contact your local store to ensure they are participating.
FREEBIES FOR GOOD GRADES
Military students in grades 1 – 12 can turn in their report card for a free coupon booklet. When they have a B average (or higher), they will receive a coupon booklet filled with Snack Avenue coupons for a free 16 oz drink, complimentary hot dog and more! Just show your military ID and report card at the nearest Exchange customer service area (and yes – homeschool students are included in this offer! Learn more HERE.
Applebee’s also wants to show kids they support them. Teachers and educators can request certificates valid for a free kids’ meal. Learn more about “A is for Applebees.”
Check with your bank as some of them have been known to offer savings deposits to kids with good grades!
Some locations will give your student a free scoop of ice cream for good grades on his or her report card.
Some locations participate in a good grades program. It might be worth a call to yours to find out!
If you live in Ohio or California, you might be able to get some free cookies with those good grades. You will definitely want to call ahead to your location to know for sure.
Chuck E. Cheese
At the end of the grading period, bring in your report card and your child can get 15 tokens for free with the purchase of a meal. Bring on the games! More details can be found here.
If you have all As and Bs on your report card, you can get an eight pack of nuggets for free. This offer varies by location, so make sure you call ahead.
Coach’s Corner Sports Shop (Belton, MO) and other Topps Retailers
Stop on in and show your child’s report card in exchange for free baseball cards. At the location in Belton, your child will get to spin the Wheel of Fortune if he or she has an “A” – for a chance for another free card! Find a participating store near you here.
Take your final report card for the year into a participating location, and you can get a free rental. This offer is only good in the summer.
Krispy Kreme Donuts
Bring in your child’s report card and for each “A” that he or she has – they get one donut! So five “A’s” = five donuts!
An app for kids ages middle through high school that rewards kids for their good grades. They build up cash they can redeem at venues and retailers. Kids scan in their good grades, which is transformed into Kudzoo cash they can spend.
You might be lucky enough to find a participating store that gives a free Happy Meal when a report card reflects nothing but A’s on it. These are franchise locations, so the offers vary greatly. Call your location to find out if they participate.
It has been reported that some locations offer a FREE Kids’ Fondue by You Entree. This is not available everywhere, so this is one where you will need to call for sure to find out.
In addition to the Book It Program, locations in Maryland offer a good grades program. Your student can get a free personal pan pizza and beverage if he/she has 3 “A’s” on a report card. Just show it to the manager. You can find more details here. You can check with a franchise close to you to see if they have such a program.
Each year on June 23rd, they celebrate PizzAchievers Day. On that day, stop at Sbarro’s with your report card and say, “A’s and B’s… Pizza Please!!”. Sbarro will then provide every PizzAchiever and an accompanying adult with a free slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza and a small soda.
