It is that time of the year again. It is report card time! While a report card’s prime positioning on the front of the refrigerator is always exciting for your child – something in return for those good grades is always better! And, when that reward is something that doesn’t cost Mom and Dad anything – it sure gets two thumbs up!
If you homeschool, you can actually create your own report card for your kids, so that they too can enjoy these freebies. You can find a free form here.
There are several merchants who participate in Good Grade Rewards programs. You simply head into their location and show your child’s report card and get some great things in return! I have contacted and confirmed that these five retailers participate in such programs, however, it is always best to contact your local store to ensure they are participating.
Here are a few that you can find:

When they have a B average (or higher), they will receive a coupon booklet filled with Snack Avenue coupons for a free 16 oz drink, complimentary hot dog and more! Just show your military ID and report card at the nearest Exchange customer service area (and yes – home school students are included in this offer! Learn more HERE.

Baskin Robbins: Some locations will give your student a free scoop of ice cream for good grades on his or her report card.
Bob Evans: Some locations participate in a good grades program. It might be worth a call to yours to find out!
Cheryl’s Cookies: If you live in Ohio or California, you might be able to get some free cookies with those good grades. You will definitely want to call ahead to your location to know for sure.

Krispy Kreme Donuts: Bring in your child’s report card and for each “A” that he or she has – they will be rewarded one donut! So five “A’s” = five donuts!
McDonald’s: You might be lucky enough to find a participating store that gives a free Happy Meal when a report card reflects nothing but A’s on it. These are franchise locations so the offers vary greatly. Call your location to find out if they participate.
Melting Pot: It has been reported that some locations offer a FREE Kids’ Fondue by You Entree. This is not available everywhere, so this is one where you will need to call for sure to find out.
Pizza Hut: In addition to the Book It Program, locations in Maryland offer a good grades program. Your student can get a free personal pan pizza and beverage if he/she has 3 “A’s” on a report card. Just show it to the manager. You can find more details here. You can check with a franchise close to you to see if they have such a program.
Sbarro Pizza: Each year on June 23rd, they celebrate PizzAchievers Day. On that day, stop at Sbarros with your report card and say, “A’s and B’s… Pizza Please!!”. Sbarro will then provide every PizzAchiever and an accompanying adult with a free slice of cheese or peperoni pizza and a small soda.
So, there are lots of great freebies that are out there and who knows – you probably have even more close to where you live! Did I miss any? If so, please share (and include the city/state where you live) and I’ll add them to this list. Enjoy your freebies!
