If you are anything like me, you LOVE bags! And of course, not just any bag — but a bag that really functions. I recently found Mixed Bag Designs (thank you to the reader who passed my name along to them). I was able to try several products and instantly found a few that were my favorites.
Grocery Store Bags: I’ve been using my own shopping bags for years. They are boring. They are plain and they all have the store’s logo on the side. They are also fabric. That means I have to toss them into the washing machine all of the time to keep them clean. Mixed Bag Designs bags are made from woven polypropylene. Not only can you just wipe them down with a damp cloth – you can toss them into recycling if you ever need to.
Box Store Bags: These are made from the same fabrics as the grocery store bags, but they are bigger. I use these at the grocery store as well and can just fit in more items inside of them. More stuff = fewer bags to haul into the house.
Foodies: My daughter takes her lunch to school most days. So, that means many tossed Ziploc baggies which is a waste of money. The foodies come in two sizes and are perfect to put your child’s sandwich and other small items into. It keeps the items fresh until they eat it at lunch. Then, they bring the bag back home and you wash it up and use it again. This mom LOVES this money saving feature.
Notepads: I hate when I am out and someone needs to give me some information and then I am stuck scrambling for paper — which normally ends up being the backside of a receipt. These notebooks are stylish and fit perfectly in your purse or handbag. And the styles – LOVE THEM!!
I was able to try several of their products and was not disappointed in any of them. What I really love about this site is that they don’t “just sell bags” they have stationary, travel cases, file boxes — just so many options. The colors, patterns and styles are just so unique. My grocery store cashier instantly fell in love with mine because they were so unique and colorful. In fact, I had to tell her the name of the website so she could check them out!
I always remind myself that sometimes, I might pay a little bit more for some things up front, but will save money in the long run. Not only that, why not spoil yourself a little by having something pretty to carry home all of those DEALS you find each week at the store! Mixed Bags Designs is a great place to find such a treasure.
