I don’t know about you, but when I have to stand for any period of time on concrete, tile, hardwood — just about any hard surface — my back and feet end up hurting. For some of us, this is something we have to suffer through because we have to cook for our families. I was recently asked to give the new Paula Deen Anti-Fatigue Kitchen Floor Mat a try to see what I thought of it. I can sum up my feelings in one word – LOVE!!!!
I’ve used other anti-fatigue mats in the past and they are comfortable, but there was something extra soft about this one. When I received it, I figured it would be just another mat. I can’t tell you how great this one felt under my feet. You see, I am a big anti-shoe person. We have new carpet in our house so we don’t wear shoes at all throughout our home. That means, I am cooking in either my bare or stocking feet.
When you stand on the mat, you can feel the spring in the mat. You feel the support that it lends to your entire body. I really was surprised at the difference in the types of mats that are sold. I thought that they were all the same, but I was clearly mistaken. Paul Deen (whom I totally love by the way) knew that this was a product that she really could happily sign her name to because it is quality item.
This mat comes in 4 colors: sage, chocolate, tan and brick red. This item will soon be available for sale in Kohls stores and on-line at Kohls.com. I checked and it is not yet for sale, but you can keep your eyes opened and take a look at this item to consider for a gift for someone (perhaps even yourself)!
One reader will receive a Paul Deen Anti-Fatigue Mat of their own — and you get to select the color!!!
