This past weekend, we celebrated my son’s fifth birthday. While planning it, we were trying to figure out what fun games or things the kids could do – which would still be affordable. When Papa Murphy’s suggested Mini Murph’s I will admit I was a tad bit skeptical. However, we decided to turn his party into a lunch time event and let each of the kids go to work creating his or her own pizza masterpiece.
Let me just say that these were a HUGE hit! Not only did the kids love them – the parents did too! They had all seen them advertised and wondered about them, but once they saw how cute the kits were and how much fun the kids had with them, they were sold. A few even mentioned that they were keeping that idea in mind for their child’s next party.
These are so kid friendly – first of all, they come in little mini pizza boxes complete with crust, sauce, cheese and pepperoni (if you so choose) . It also includes the baking instructions as well as a mini temporary tattoo. The kids can get busy making their pizza to their own liking:
While the pizzas were all baking in the oven, we entertained the kids with pin the smokestack on the tractor (my own version of pin the tail on the donkey). Just as we finished the game, the pizzas were done and ready to be sliced and served. While the kids ate theirs, I was able to toss more into the oven for all of the adults (and let me just say that their Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza is to DIE for). Once the pies were cooled off, the kids sat down and enjoyed their little masterpieces:
As I mentioned above, these kits are very affordable. At just $3 each, it won’t break the bank to feed kids PLUS give them something fun to do. All of the kids at our party were ages 4 – 5 and they had the best time. I highly recommend Papa Murphy’s Mini Murphs for your party — or to just even have fun with the kids on a Friday night!

We LOVE the Mini Murph’s! I surprised my kids with these for our Valentine Day’s dinner. My husband is gone at military training so my 4 kids were my dates =) It was such a fun night to “spice up the night” HAHAHA! I would definetly recommend them for a birthday party–what a fun idea!
My kids also kept their pizza boxes to use in their up-cycled play kitchen (my parents and grandparents took a old solid oak entertainment center and made it into a kitchen). They like to play restruaunt so these were a perfect addition to their play world.

I think the Mini Murphs seem to be an excellent idea for a kids party. A+ for these little pizzas!!
