Colorado Bag ‘N Baggage will make finding that perfect gift for mom really easy this Mother’s Day.
Vera Bradly – Was started in 1982 when friend Patricia R. Miller and Barbara Bradley Baekgaard were traveling together and noticed that there is not a great deal of baggage made specifically for women. It was then the two friends decided to make functional, soft luggage out of rich and colorful fabrics that change seasonally. Vera Bradly has grown to be nationally and internationally recognized without compromising style or quality. You can check them out here at: VeraBradley.com
It seems that Vera Bradley is a top name in bags for women. They seem to bring out the oooos and ahhhhs in so many. The one thing I’ve noticed is that these bags are of the highest quality. The patterns and colors are so vibrant and appeal to a broad array of style tastes. I actually never owned any of her bags, so I was so excited when I was able to try out 3 of thier bags — the Hipster (in Boysenberry), Passport Cover (in viva la vera) & Tech Case (watercolor).
I did chuckle that I now have a Passport cover, as I dont’ even own a Passport. I left a subtle (or maybe not that sublte) hint to my husband that I needed to get one to place inside of mine. And of course, that a passport must have a stamp to be worth anything. Wink! Wink!
I love the Tech case. My phonen fit perfectly in there. It has a little strap so I can just hook it to the side of my bag and actually find my phone — instead of digging through everything to find it when it starts ringing. It is also so handy to carry your phone with you – to keep the germs that would get onto it from lying it on tables, sinks….just about anywhere you might rest your phone.
I also was able to review the Hipster. This is is a great bag — when you have a short outing and don’t need to carry too much with you. I was able to slid my wallet some snacks and even a diaper for my daughter into my bag. I know as a mom, having a bag with room for a few “kid items” always is important.
Also, there is the GoToob by Human Gear, the civilized, squeezable travel tube. What is so great about these is that they are carry-on approved – as they hold exactly 2 oz of your product. You can use them for just about anything from shampoo to ketchup (yes – it seems everything we eat around here is better with ketchup).
There is also the Good 2 Go Bag. I love these bags. Rather than having to swap out your handbag to co-ordinate with your outfit (and taking the time to transfer all of your stuff from one to the other), you keep inside of your Good 2 Go bag. Then, when you switch, you pull out the bag and slide into your other one. You are done and ready to head out the door in no time at all. There are 3 sizes — to accomodate just about any size of bag you might own.
I also love the B. Dazzle puzzles. I find as I get older (and no – I’m not old — yet), my mind needs a little sharpening. Puzzles are a great way to do that. This is large enough that you can take it with you in the car on that next road trip….and it can entertain your kids from 12 to 41.
One (1) lucky Penny Pinchin’ Mom Rreader will win an the same Vera Bradley items I received above as well as Go Toobs, Good 2 Go set of a small, medium and large bag set and B. Dazzle puzzle — a $210 value!
