If you happen to have the K-Mart insert from this weekend’s newspaper, you will see that the King’s Trio Castle is marked down 50% off — to $29.99. You will need to take this with you along with this $10.00/1 Target coupon (click on Toys from the margain) and this $5.00/1 Fisher Price printable coupon in order to run this deal. Got ’em? OK, here we go……
Before I actually share this, I wanted to let you know that I have been debating all afternoon whether I should post this or not, as some stores are doing it according to the written low price guarantee policy and others are not.
Basically the policy says that Target coupons should be applied BEFORE price matching. So, if the price is still above the competitor’s ad, after coupons, then they price match down. So, some of you may end up with a greater deal than others of you will.
Oh — also be on the lookout for some packages that have $10.00 off peelies on the front of them and you can use it in place of the $5.00/1 coupon. However, I wanted you to print the Fisher Price coupon in case you couldn’t find the peelies.
Scenario Based Upon Written Policy:
$59.99 Trio
– 10.00 Target coupon
_____
$49.99
-20.00 price match down to KMart
-10.00 Peelie
______
$19.99 after coupons (if you can’t find the peelie – it would be $24.99)
Scenario Based upon what SOME people have experienced:
$59.99 Trio
-30.00 Price matching down to KMART
-10.00 Target coupon
-10.00 Peelie
______
$ 9.99
So, I just wanted you to know the correct way that this should be rung up, but what deal you might actually end up with when you go to the store, since they could differ.
Thanks in part More Than Cents and SD!
