All opinions are my own and were not influenced by any parties.
I can’t believe that my son will be in the sixth grade this fall. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing that little guy home from the hospital. And, when I say little, I mean little.
It seems my son inherited my genes, at least when it comes to height. The poor kid is still one of the shortest in his class. And, the thought of him going to middle school with eighth graders who look like they could be in high school is a bit nerve-racking for him.
But, what he doesn’t have in size, he makes up for in personality and style. We always remind him that it is not the size of the person, but their personality and character that matters. He can charm a room and certainly knows how to make people laugh. It warms my heart to see how people love to be around and talk with him.
He’s also got his own style. While most of the boys in his class all have the same hairstyle, he likes to look the way he wants. He has never been one to follow trends. His dad and I both love that about him.
But, of course, he still wants to look good. And, having a smaller stature, he knows the way he wears his hair can make a difference. He’s long-since stopped parting and combing it to one side. Now, he wants to look more grown up.
We’ve found a few products to help him do this. He uses gel and Axe pomade. Since his hair is super fine and thin, most styles never hold. But, using a little putty helps keep his style looking the way he wants, all day long.
HOT DEAL ON AXE!
While school is still a few months away, I noticed a deal today that I am totally grabbing! Now through June 16, 2018, you will find the following promotion at your local CVS:
We grabbed the Axe Clean Cut Look for my son. With his fine hair, we needed a bit more hold, which this one has. It takes just a little bit to give him the style he wants. After he adds it to his hair, he uses a comb to get just the look he wants.
He also was eager to try Axe Whatever Messy paste. The reason? Because it says it gives you that just-out-of-bed look and he liked that he may not need to comb his hair some mornings when rushing to school. Just a little bit of paste and he can give his hair the messed up look that he wants. Boys! LOL!!!
Whatever your son or favorite guys style happens to be, embrace it. That’s what makes them who they are and encourages them to do what they want and not what everyone says they should do.
Just make sure you stop by CVS before June 16th so that you can take advantage of the BOGO 50% and $4 Extrabucks with purchase of 2 products!
