When you head to Silver Dollar City, you want to always make sure you get the most out of your visit.  After all, you’ve spent a LOT of money to get behind the gate!

Silver Dollar City is a LOT of fun - but very expensive! We've got the tips to make sure you get the MOST out of your trip (getting you your full money's worth)!
Whether you’re from Missouri, or another state, Silver Dollar City is a famed amusement park destination! Named as one of the Top Ten Amusement Parks in America last year, it’s definitely worth checking out.

We’ve put together some ways for you to save some money, and get the most out of your trip.

SILVER DOLLAR CITY DISCOUNTS AND MONEY SAVING IDEAS

Save on Single Day Tickets

Regular priced one-day tickets for adults are $60.00+ tax through Silver Dollar City. There are a couple of options to save on one-day tickets.

For a small amount of savings, you can bring in a participating McDonald’s receipt for $5.00 off a ticket.  You might also visit on a Thursday instead.  Stop by a local Price Cutter grocery store (in the Springfield, MO area) and purchase your ticket before you go.

Save on Multiple Day Tickets

The best tip is to get a one day ticket, at a discount.  Then, do not visit the park until after 3 pm.  That way, the next day is FREE!  Yep!  You will get a full day and a half park visit for the cost of one discounted ticket.  This runs through October 30th.

Check the current Special Offers

Before you head out, take a look at the special offers page as you can find discounts and deals.  One offer they have is free admission to teachers, but you need to read the fine print and buy your tickets by the date indicated.

Save on Meals & Drinks

It’s simple to save on your beverages and meals.  Just bring your own!  You are allowed to bring food and drinks into the park.  That way, you can not only save money, but actually eat the foods you want.

Best Times to go

Silver Dollar City has different festivals happening all year long. One you can’t miss is World Fest! It’s full of amazing shows, vendors and foods from around the world!

Christmas is another time to go. If you’ve never been, it’s spectacular! It’s a top holiday destination in the nation, and it will definitely put you in the holiday spirit! The light shows are top notch and worth every penny!

Use the Silver Dollar City App

Did you know Silver Dollar City had an app? Whether you’ve been there a thousand times, or you’re planning your first visit, you need to use it.  Download the Silver Dollar City app for free (available for both Android and Apple devices).

The app gives you a list of restaurants and rides.  It also tells you the wait times in real time for your planning! This is great to know if you will have to wait for an hour, or ten minutes to get on your favorite ride!

We are going the first week of November for the Christmas stuff. Can you get those Single Day tickets at Price Cutter then too?

They should be available at that time, but you might try to get them earlier if possible.
