I have recently received some emails about some HyVee stores who have posted information about double coupon policies. I love that stores are doing this for some of you – that is awesome!!! One thing that I want to make sure everyone does realize is that all HyVee stores are independently managed, meaning that not all stores have the same double coupon policy.
What I recommend that you do is inquire at your customer service desk about your local HyVee doubling coupons. If they don’t yet offer this, talk to the manager and ask him or her to consider such an offer. You just never know when your conversation might lead to greater weekly savings when you shop!

are there any Hyvees in the kc area doing this?
JENNIFER says
Ok…sound off…does anyone know about their local KC Hyvee?
JENNIFER says
FYI…just check Blue Springs Hyvee and they do NOT double.

Hy-Vee on Barry Rd. does double coupons on Thursday.

I believe Hy-Vee just off Barry Road (8301 N St. Clair Avenue, Kansas City, MO) doubles coupons, up to $.50, every Thursday.
Mandy says
The Hy-Vee on Barry Road does double on Thursday only. Dairy and store coupons are excluded. I found that out the hard way and after talking with the manager. They are the only Hy-Vee in Kansas City north that I know of that doubles.
Lila says
Not KC, but KC area–Topeka doubles on Tuesdays.

The HyVee’s in Lee’s Summit do not double. Also, HV West in LS has a very strict policy about Internet coupons as well. I routinely go over their $10 coupon limit and have to get the cashier to get manager approval for my purchase. Recently one of their managers gave me a hard time about a “Free” coupon I had rec’d directly in the mail from a manufacturer. He said that they will not accept Internet coupons for more than $2.50. I had to point out to him that it was a mailed coupon and he approved it.
megan says
Sorry but what do you mean by this….do you they double the price or allowing 2 coupons for the same product. Sorry for my confusion.
Erin says
Hi Megan,
I think doubling a coupon means doubling the value of the coupon. For instanc eif a coupon’s value is $.25 off an item, it would double to $.50 off of an item.
Sara says
The HyVee’s in Omaha just had this last weekend. They will double a coupon’s value up to 50 cents, but if you have a $1.00 coupon, they’ll give you $1.50 off. 🙂
melissa says
@ megan~ doubling a coupon is to give you twice the coupons value. For example if you have a .50 coupon they would give you $1 off. hth

Anyone have any luck finding a HyVee doubling q’s in Johnson County?
