*We have updated the picture to show the recalled buckles. The first image we had was of the new buckles, and this may have caused some confusion. We apologize for any misunderstanding!
We told you last February about a massive recall on select Graco car seats, and wanted to let you know about this NEW recall for the harness buckles used on select infant, toddler convertible car seats and harnessed booster seats. The issue is that the buckles may be difficult to unlatch, making it difficult to remove the child from the seat in the case of an emergency. There have been NO reports of injury, but Graco recognizes this problem and is willing to replace the harness buckle on select models.
The infant seats include in this NEW recall are the SnugRide Classic Connect, SnugRide Classic Connect 30, SnugRide Classic Connect 35, SnugRide Click Connect 40 and the Aprica A30.
The toddler convertible models that were included in February are the Cozy Cline, Comfort sport, Classic Ride 50, My Ride 65, My Ride with Safety Surround, My Ride 70, Size 4 Me 70, Smartseat, Natuilus, Natulis Elite and Argos 70.
If you happen to own one of these models, contact Graco at 1-800-345-4109 or 330-869-7225 to request a replacement harness buckle (at no cost to you). Or head HERE for more information.
