Pizza Hut recently added a new product to it’s menu line up: Firebaked Style Flatbread Pizzas. I’ve always been a fan of Pizza Hut, so when they asked me to give it a try and share my thoughts, I was more the excited to jump at the chance to do just that!
When I first got online to place my order, I noticed that I was able to choose up to three different topping combinations of up to three toppings on the six flatbreads. I liked this feature because it allowed me to customize the order to fit my family’s “selective” tastes. We ended up getting a cheese (for my kids), pepperoni (for mom) and sausage, peppers and olives (for Dad). The cost is $11.99 for 6 breads – and that was more than enough to feed our entire family. That makes for an affordable meal in my eyes!
When it arrived and we placed some on our kids’ plates, they started yelling right away because it wasn’t real pizza. We told them just to give it a chance. Lo and behold – they loved it! In fact, our eight year old asked for more after she cleaned her plate (score — Mom/Dad 1 …. Kids 0). Both my husband and I both liked it.
We both loved how crispy the crust was. To be honest, it sort of reminded us of a thin crust pizza with more of a woody flavor. That’s why we both really enjoyed it – we are already fans of thin crust pizza. I also liked the fact that it did not take a lot to fill me up. I was able to eat a little less, but was still left feeling very full and satisfied. I guess the real proof is in the pudding…..here’s our after photo:
Pizza Hut offers Flatbread pizzas for $11.99. You can order it for dine-in, carry out or even for home delivery. My family has already said that they’d love it if we ordered this one once again. Makes me happy that my kids actually tried something new and enjoyed it! WOO HOO!!!
I was provided compensation in order to purchase this product in order to facilitate my review. All opinions were my own and were not influenced by any parties.
