Red, White and Blue Waffles

Ingredients

  • Waffle Mix
  • Red Food Coloring
  • Blue Food Coloring

Instructions

  1. Mix the batter according to package instructions.
  2. Divide the batter into three bowls.
  3. Tint one red, one blue and leave the other without color
  4. Heat your waffle iron to the right setting (make sure you properly grease it)
  5. Pour one color of the batter into one quarter of the iron. Repeat with the other colors.
  6. Cook according to package instructions
  7. Top with butter, syrup, whipped cream…whatever you want!
