I have 3 kids — all of who believe in Santa Claus. My oldest is in 4th grade and I really feel that this will be her last year of believing, so we wanted to do something extra special. I was contacted by Santa Sent Me a Letter and knew right away that it was the PERFECT idea!
This site is so incredible! They offer all sorts of packages from a basic letter to a deluxe one – which comes with a key and nice membership card – in addition to your personalized letter. I’ll explain each part of the package we reviewed – which was the deluxe ($19.95)
First (and probably the most important feature) is the letter. They have all sorts of options available from religious, to Baby’s First Christmas to Happy Hanukkah and more! Each letter is 100% customizable. I actually included wording in our letter about my daughter working towards her brown belt in Karate, my son’s involvement in scouting and our youngest being able to read. We even included something about our trip to North Pole Village where he shares that his elf passed along those list items. Watching my children’s faces when they read the letter was beyond amazing. They were excited and couldn’t wait to tell their friends that they had Santa’s autograph and that he actually took the time to send them a letter!
The next item in the package is a key. It is a really awesome looking skeleton key. It includes a note to tell kids to hang it on their door as it is a magic key he can use to unlock any door — so if you don’t have a fireplace he can still get in to bring you your presents. Of course, we do have a chimney, but our kids said we had to keep it for when we went to Granny’s house the next time for Christmas, because she doesn’t have one. Again – hearing the discussions that they finally knew how he got into houses without a chimney — priceless!
The final item that they received was their Nice List membership card. It is plastic card embossed with a number. This ensures your child has already earned the right to be on the nice list. It is a great way for kids to know that they they need to work hard to stay there all season long!

I would absolutely pay full price for this — just because of the expression on my kids’ faces. I was almost in tears (joyful ones), just seeing them take in everything that was in the letter. It was so worth it for at least one more year of believing.
Three readers will receive a voucher valid for one Original Letter Package ($9.95 value)!
