Veggie Tales has another new title coming out in just a few short weeks called MacLarry and the Stinky Cheese Battle. This DVD does not fail as it follows in the footsteps of other great Veggie Tales movies in teaching children valuable Christian Lessons. Here is the synopsis of the movie:
Larry the Cucumber stars as MacLarry – a misfit inventor who is stuck in the middle of the silliest battle ever between two tribes of perpetual pranksters! When the biggest prank of the century is unleashed, the feuding tribes are in danger of being overcome by the stinkiest cheese in the land! Will MacLarry realize that his God-given talents may be just what is needed to save them all from the loathsome Limburger??
This movie did not disappoint our family in the slightest. As usual with these films, I always talk to my children after they watch it, to make sure they undersatnd the message being conveyed. My daughter, who is four, is a HUGE van of all things Veggie Tales. When I asked her what she learned and she said that we shouldn’t fight! Guess the lesson was well received (once again).
The movie once again contains catchy music and funny one liners from the characters. There are scenes for the entire family — which makes it suitable for all ages. I actually love to watch these movies too as it seems to remind me of things I have forgotten over the years and reminds me that I too, should get along with others. I’ve never been able to say a negative thing about any of these movies, because there isn’t anything bad to say. We have so many from the Veggie Tales store and my kids think of them just as movies whereas I know that they are being reminded of important life lessons every time they watch.
If you are anxious to see the movie, you will want to check out the trailer (it is pretty fun too):
