We started school here today (as you can probably hear mom giving a celebratory cheer across the country). Of course, before we headed back, we had to do some shopping. And in true penny pinchin’ fashion, I wanted to make sure that I got the most bang for my buck. That meant heading to one of the places where I can find some of the best deals — Marshall’s.
When we visited Marshall’s, my goal was to try to help my daughter find some new clothes….she had other things in mind. She decided that she wanted to check out the supplies such as tote bags, backpacks and other supplies. The one thing she found that we had not seen anywhere else was a Sponge Bob Lunch tote. I could have purchased nothing else for her and she would have been pleased as could be!
We had a lot of fun checking out the great deals throughout the store and when we headed to the checkout counter, we had in our hands: socks, underwear, shoes and a lunch tote. We paid about $65 for everything. The kicker was that the shoes were normally $65 by themselves – so it was like we received all of the other items for FREE! I love that I can find the back to school essentials without breaking the bank. It really helps families to shop at Marshall’s to save money on those back to school items.
What I really appreciate about T.J. Maxx / Marshall’s is that I can find the best name brand shoes and clothes at reduced prices. These prices can be as much as 60% off of what you’ll find in most department stores. Of course, like most kids, mine love the name brands, but no one says that I have to pay name brand prices. My kids love to be in with the latest trends when it comes to clothes, gear and accessories. However, at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how little I paid for something, it is that my kids are happy and ready to head back to school — in style — T.J. Maxx / Marshall’s does that for me!
Penny Pinchin’ Mom received a $50 gift card in order to check out the deals at T.J. Maxx/Marshall’s. The opinions in this post are my own and were not influenced by any parties.
