Believe it or not, there are ways you can actually earn free Amazon gift cards.
You can use your Amazon gift card to purchase items you need, such as toilet paper, laundry detergent or even diapers. It is wise to also use them to score free gifts for birthdays, anniversaries and even Christmas! The ideas are endless.
While it may sound too good to be true, there are sites which allow you to accrue points or money, which you can then turn into Amazon gift cards. By using these sites regularly, you can build up a nice amount of gift cards each and every year.
Here are the ten simple ways you can get free gift cards.
1. Shop using TopCashBack.
TopCashBack is a rebate site. When you shop online, you do so through via their links. They in turn deposit money into your account for every purchase. They even offer a lucrative refer-a-friend program which earns you $10 when your friend spends his or her first $10 through the site.
When you get ready to cash out, your rebate is increased by 3%, which is turned into an Amazon gift card.

2. Use Swabucks.
Another way to earn free gift cards is through Swagbucks. When you need to do an on-line search, go through their site. They reward you by giving you points for your searches, completing surveys and all sorts of other activities. The points are redeemed for various prizes, one of which is Amazon gift cards.
Sign up right here – and you’ll get a $5 bonus (just make sure you use my link).
3. Take surveys through Harris Poll Online.
Finding legitimate survey sites is difficult. One of them I’v used and recommend is Harris Poll Online. As you complete surveys, you earn points. You cash your points in for prices such as free Amazon gift cards.
The key to a good survey site is one that you do not have to pay to join. Sign up for Harris Poll here (they sometimes have limits on sign ups, so if you can’t get in right now, try back again in a week or two).
4. Submit your receipts to Ibotta.
This is one of my favorite apps. Before you shop you find various rebates offered by Ibotta. The more activities you complete, the higher the refund. Then, submit a snapshot of your receipt and you’ll get the rebate deposited into your account.
When you reach your $20 thresh hold, you can cash out and convert your rebate into an Amazon gift card.
5. Use Inbox Dollars.
Inbox Dollars rewards you with points when you complete surveys, play games and even shop online. Best of all, you’ll score a free $5 bonus when you sign up!
6. Use Opinion Outpost to share your thoughts.
This is a another legitimate paid survey site. You can earn cash, gift cards and other perks, just by sharing your opinions via surveys through Opinion Outpost.
7. Use Coinstar to cash in your change.
Rather than roll and take it to the bank, you can convert your coins into gift cards through retailers – such as Amazon. When you select a gift card, you can avoid the CoinStar fee.
8. Use Viggle when you watch television.
Viggle is an app you can use while while TV shows or even live streaming from various providers. You earn points for watching and then cash those in towards gift cards – including Amazon.
9. Use RecieptHog when you shop.
This works in the same fashion as Ibotta (mentioned above). You can also get cash back on items you purchase. Just upload a copy of your receipt and get bonuses. Sign up for ReciptHog for free.
10. Amazon Trade-in Program.
If you have movies, books and games that you no longer want, you can trade them into Amazon and receive gift cards — for free!!
11. Use Microsoft Rewards.
Sign up with Microsoft Rewards and you can earn points for things such as quizzes, shopping, surveys and more. Cash them in and get free Amazon gift cards!
