I had a problem running the Green Giant deal the last time it was at this price. My printed coupon wouldn’t scan (my printed coupons NEVER scan at the Sun Fresh in Westport), and they wouldn’t double it because it would render the item free. (??) I didn’t argue at the time, but I might this time.
Another good deal at Sun Fresh this week is the cans of Healthy Choice soup that are on sale for $1. There was supposed to have been a $1/2 coupon in this past Sunday’s SS insert, which would make these 50 cents each when you buy two and the coupon is doubled. However, my paper didn’t have the coupon. 🙁

We didn’t get that coupon around here — would sure be nice! I know that Hen House has the policy that if the coupon being doubled results in a free item, it is not doubled – just reduced by the face value. Since they also own some SunFresh stores, this would make sense.
