If you don’t already love Target’s Cartwheel app already, here’s a reason to love it even MORE! The app now includes digital manufacturer’s coupons!
You add these coupons to your account like regular Cartwheel coupons. They are redeemed in the same way by having your phone or sheet scanned at checkout. The only difference is that, unlike Target coupons, these can be redeemed only once.
Since these are in fact manufacturer’s coupons, you can stack them with Target Cartwheel and store coupons (both print and mobile). Keep in mind though that you can not use another paper coupon as well.
For example, we currently have a $1 off of Pepperidge Farms printable coupon. There is also a coupon for $1 off of Pepperidge Farms manufacturer’s coupon on the app. If you purchase one package, you can only use one of these coupons — not both of them. However, if you purchase 2 packages, you can use the digital coupon on one and the printed coupon on the other.
Right now these are not easy to find as they are mixed in with the Target offers. The easiest way to track them down is to search “mfr” and they should come up for you. You can identify these by checking two things.
First of all, the coupon will say “single-use offer” on it.
You can also read the fine print on the offer. It states “Limit no more than one manufacturer coupon (paper or Cartwheel digital), one Target coupon and one Cartwheel offer can be combined per item.”
I personally love this because there are times when I may forget to print a coupon — or need one more to make my good deal even better!
What do you think about this addition to the app?
Thanks to Mary for shooting an email my way today so I could check this out!!
