It is the time of the year to stock up on school supplies and other items my kids need for school. It is also the time we pick up new clothes for them to start another school year.
With three kids to shop for, it can really hit my wallet pretty hard. While I do try to shop the sales, my kids’ styles are changing. They want to wear the things that really appeal to them more than what I may find on sale.
While I love that they are individuals who want to express themselves, it can be difficult to shop with them. My oldest daughter has been a tom boy (related to how she dresses) and is just now starting to care about her appearance. She is still very picky about what she will buy, and that makes shopping a challenge.
My son is still pretty easy going and jeans and some tees are all he wants. I always joke with him to say he is my favorite when we have to shop. It is really that easy with him.
Then, there is my youngest. She loves to look “cute” (as she says it). We will look in the store to find her the style that is not too young, but still appropriate for her age. Sadly, we do have issues at some stores. They really don’t seem to know what a 7 year old girl should wear. There are things I won’t buy for her – and she knows it.
For her and I, shopping online is a simpler task. We can grab my laptop and shop right on my sofa. We still have to build outfits and it seems as we add each item, the cost goes up and up.
That is what lead me to trying and give you this FabKids Review. I was able to find complete outfits for just $29.95, dresses for only $19.95, pants for as little as $19.95 and even tops for $14.95.
These are not just any clothes. They sell the clothes which are tuned into the newest styles and trends. I was a bit leary because I was not able to check out the quality of the clothes before I bought them. However, when they arrived, I was VERY pleased. They are all extremely well made (as kids’ clothes need to be).
If you have not been to their site before, let me share how it works. When you first sign up, they give you a quiz about your child’s style. I really appreciated this because I knew my daughter was not into the frills, glitter and things like that. This allowed FabKids to really tailor the items they showed to me so that I could find something that she would love. It honestly made the shopping experience much better for both of us.
Once you find the outfit you want, you add it to your cart and head to checkout. You can sign up to be a FabKids VIP and get your very first outfit for just $9.95 shipped! Best of all – they even offer free exchanges.
Yes. You read that right. $9.95 for an outfit. Including shipping AND exchanges.
Each month, you will get new styles which are hand picked for your child. You will pay $39.95 and get to select your outfit to be sent to you. You can order it any time during the month (so no worries that you missed the purchase deadline).
Right now, there some brand new coupon codes you can use to get an even better deal!
BTSDRESSBOGO – BOGO on all dresses
BTSTEESBOGO – BOGO for all boys tees
4LEGGGINGS29 – 4 leggings for $29.95
You can stack these with your $10 credit. That makes 2 dresses for $14.95 or 2 tees for $6.95 (new customers only).
As a busy mom, I really appreciate this as it helps my daughter get new clothes all year long. Best of all, I don’t have to get into a car and head to the store to shop. It saves us time. I think what I love most of all is being able to just sit with her and spend time doing something she loves to do.
Check out FabKids and let me know what you think! I’d love to get your thoughts too!
If you find that you need to cancel (which I am not sure you will want to), you can do so by calling 1-855-FAB-KIDS. They have amazing customer service representatives who will take care of it for you.
