Earth Day was in April (as it is every year, of course). The thing for me is that I don’t really like Earth Day.
It is not because of what it promotes. Not at all. I hate that there is only one day a year that many really look at what they are doing when it comes to our planet. For our family, we practice Earth Day every single day. This is done through our use of energy, products and the little things we can do to try to make a difference.
As I get older, I have become more aware of these things. With three kids to take care of, it is important that I do. I find that the products that I used in the past don’t work for my any longer.
The reason is usually nothing at all to do with performance. It is not even an issue of price. For me, it is about not only what the product is made of, but also what the company stands for.
We’ve used Tom’s of Maine products for years (it is the only deodorant my kids’ have ever used). I love that they have products that are better for you, but they are even good for the planet.
I was able to try out the Luminous White toothpaste. While I will admit that change is often difficult, this one was actually pretty easy to make.
My teeth are definitely not as white as I would like for them to be. I know it is a combination of both age and what I eat/drink. However, I want to change that. When my teeth are clean and white, I just feel better about myself – don’t you?
I gave Tom’s of Maine Luminous White toothpaste a try. I will admit that I was very pleasantly surprised. I loved how it is not only safe for on your enamel, but it seems to really work! My teeth felt smooth and clean after using it and I am starting to see some of the yellow slowly disappearing!!
If you want to find this toothpaste to try it out for yourself, there is only only place to head — Target. That is the ONLY store which carries it! (So don’t go looking anywhere else).
For a limited time, it is even ON SALE! You can save $1.50 (without even using a coupon) when you pick up your Luminous White toothpaste at Target! SCORE!
Whatever you do, just keep in mind that Earth Day is not only on April 22nd. It is really in the things you do each and every day – and the little things that can make a big impact on our world.
