Yesterday, I shared a new offer on All You Magazine — you could get it for as low as $9.97 after your cash back. Well, since that was posted, I’ve learned that Magazines.com will not honor 50% cash back on All You — only the 28% as originally listed.
What does this mean for you? Well, if you placed an order, you will still get cash back. It is just not as much as originally implied that you would receive. If you ordered one year, you will get back $5.59, which makes a one year subscription only $14.38 or $1.19 an issue. If you happened to place your order for two years, your cash back will be $9.52. That makes your net total $24.48 for 24 issues or $1.02 an issue.
Is this still considered a good deal? Yes, it is as the cost per issue is less than you will pay anywhere else. Can I cancel my order? You certainly can. Do do that, you can go directly to Magazine.com. Here is what their site says about canceling orders:
Simply call Customer Care toll-free at 1-800-MAGAZINES (800-624-2946) weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. CT or on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CT. Or, if you’d prefer, click here to contact us by e-mail us or to use our fast, convenient Live Chat service.
I know that this is frustrating for all of you. It is also for me as well. I work hard to ensure that the deals I post are accurate. However, when merchants come in and decide to change offers without any notification, it puts us all in a bad spot. I feel horrible because the deal is not working as it should and all of you are frustrated for the same reason. I hope that this one hiccup doesn’t make you lose faith or confidence in me and the deals I post.
