I had been using the Motorola Xyboard for about 3 months when I started having a few problems with the device. I immediately contacted Verizon to let them know that I was having issues (like the device shutting down without notice). I knew that something had to be wrong as I had used other Motorola devices in the past and never had a problem.
I started to visit with Verizon Customer service and they tried to work with me to see if we couldn’t just figure the problem out without sending it in. We tried some powering down methods and changing some settings. When that did not work, they immediately offered to have me send in the device so that it could be repaired.
Within a few days a package arrived at my door for me to send it off to them. I followed the steps and sent it back to Verizon for repair. It was returned to me within a week and has worked perfectly since!
I was really impressed to see that they cared about their customers. It is truly service after the sale and not just about getting your money and running. If you have any issues with devices or phones you purchase through Verizon, I recommend that you reach out to them via Twitter, email or phone and they will take care of you. Isn’t it great to know that a company really cares?
I am participating in the Verizon Midwest Savvy Savers program and have been provided with a wireless device and size months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.
